Hello everyone! Anouk desperately needs your help

In December 2024 Anouk found that his atopic dermatitis treatment had suddenly stopped working on his skin. We then discovered Anouk's body was 'addicted' to the treatment of corticosteroids and he would have to go through a grueling withdrawal regime. Just how grueling we were yet to realise - after a month Anouk found that his whole body was in so much burning pain he couldn't walk, sleep or function in any capacity. He stopped attending school, hanging out with friends and playing sports due to the constant pain and discomfort of his skin, along with that it has taken a huge toll on his mental health. We've now hit mid 2025 and we are desperate - Anouk is only 16. He wants to complete VCE, go out with friends and live his life outside his bedroom. Unfortunately, the only way we can speed his healing process up is via Cold Atmospheric Plasma Therapy (CAP therapy). Currently, this specific treatment is not available in Australia so we are hoping to travel to Thailand to receive this effective treatment - it's not a 100% cure but it will greatly improve Anouk's health, quality of life and overall mental health and wellbeing. The only thing holding us back is being able to afford this treatment. I will need to take at least 3 months unpaid leave from work and we expect treatment, flights, accommodation and living expenses for Anouk and I to be well over $10,000.
