Another Serious Rough Patch

Greetings, this is Eric, the local photo fellow. This is difficult, especially considering all of the help you've given me in the past. The big thing is my truck is giving up the ghost! It is an old beast and falling apart at the seams. Coming home from the hospital the truck broke down on the freeway, and I had to have her towed to the tune of $300.00 and being on a fixed income, well, salt on the wound. So, I need funds for another "beater" to get to my medical appointments. OK, then I just had a serious surgery which took the wind out of my sails big time. Now I have to pay for a home health nurse 3 times a week. Please note, that I'm having a hard time writing this. On top of all that next month a full hip, femur, and knee replacement. The joy of joys it will be back to the nursing home during my recovery...Thanks to this community I']ve been sold some of my metal and canvas photo prints but not near enough to cover my bills, let alone being able to pay for a vehicle. I'm not looking for a Mercedes (dreaming here), just something reliable and hopefully something I won't need a tetanus shot to get in and out of. Oh heck, folks, I'm sounding like the village idiot here. I turn 70 years old in a week, and I would have thought that I'd be able to take care of myself. But heck, I'm so crippled up that it has precipiatated the decision to once again, reach out! What with all of my medical bills piling up, trying to keep food in the house, and poor Daffy's dog food, well most of you know,, I'm just quite simply overwhelmed! I will now make a serious and profound promise to find a way to pay this forward. Thank you, I am and always be your most humble
