Another Mommy Lost to Cancer

Hi my name is Mary, I am Jesse Mcclusky (Jennie's Husband's) Aunt. To say you never know what tomorrow holds is an understatement, as this family sadly realized in the past few days. Being young and thinking time was not an issue, Jesse, Jennie, Autumn, Abby, and baby Jack McClusky were living their lives, in Lapeer Michigan, despite Jennie's cancer diagnoses two years ago. She was diagnosed shortly after their baby (Jack) was born. With her husband partially disabled and only working part time, Jennie worked to help provide for her family. Jennie also homeschooled the two girls and cared for Jack, all while battling kidney cancer. Jesse her husband continued to work to provide for the family.

On August 31, Jennie was at home when she became in so much pain that she was rushed by ambulance to Lapeer Hospital. Her doctors did what they could but eventually determined nothing could be done to save her. The doctors and family brought in Hospice, and they worked to keep her out of pain and as comfortable as possible. On September 1st, Jennie lost her battle with kidney cancer after her nearly 2-year fight.

Jennie was a wonderful mother to 3 beautiful children, Autumn (17), Abigail (just turned 16 on September 1st) and Jack (almost 2). They were the CENTER of her world, and she was their everything. With Jennie gone, Jesse and the kid's world has been turned upside down. As they muddle through trying to put the pieces together, they are faced with a void that will not be filled. Funds will go toward the Funeral expenses. Any funds left over will be a blessing and go to the family for any and all living expenses. A single father with a part time job(due to partial disability) will struggle to meet the contued needs of his family.
