ANOTHER DEVASTATING LOSS

As many of you know our sister, Cheryl Van Note Hedberg, and her sons recently lost their home of 35 years to a fire along with all of their belongings. The same home Cheryl and her husband John built by hand and filled with memories as they raised their family.

Cheryl is the last woman you’d catch asking for help, she is absolutely the most hard working and toughest woman you’ll know. She has been through so much losing her husband to the devastating, emotional and financial toll of Huntington’s Disease. She fought through the death of her husband to be again faced tragedy as she lost her only daughter Michelle to a tragic car accident. Cheryl has dealt with the debilitating effects of Huntington’s first with her husband and now with her sons, working 7 days a week for close to 30 years to maintain and support herself and her sons.
We’ve watched her struggle through all of this loss, however losing their home and belongings,  which had little to no insurance, has completely overwhelmed  her. We can’t imagine how she would be able to work harder or longer to recover from this loss.
