Our dedicated sales adviser, Anosh Masih, has had a challenging start to 2025 and we need your help to raise the money to enable him to purchase a much-needed prosthetic leg.
Anosh has been with us in the Central region as a Senior Sales Advisor since 2021, after transferring from the North London region, where he worked for 3 years. On February 11th this year, Anosh faced a severe battle with sepsis, resulting in the loss of his left leg below the knee.
Despite this challenging situation, Anosh has remained incredibly positive. His approach to this life-changing incident has been simply inspirational. When visiting Anosh in the hospital following his operation, we were struck by his determination. He said, “This may have happened to my life, but I am not going to let it change my life!”
He then asked about his new site which was due to launch the end of March/early April, as he didn’t want to miss it.
Anosh has been truly inspirational through all this. His determination knows no bounds. He is undergoing regular physio and rehabilitation sessions and has recently returned to his local gym, where he is re-learning how to use gym equipment to build up his core strength for the next part of his journey.
He has also been asked by his local church group to give a talk on the challenges he has faced and how he has remained so positive through it all, with the goal of showing anyone going through hard times that despite what your situation looks like, there is always hope and ways to make it better.
Since leaving the hospital, Anosh and his family have jumped straight into making the necessary changes for him to get around in his wheelchair. After a period of healing, Anosh will be measured for his prosthetic leg. This is where we need your help.
The NHS provides a basic prosthetic, but as you can imagine, this will be a standard issue with limited mobility. Anosh is seeking something trendier and more practical. The standard prosthetics are generally very basic, but the best option would be a prosthetic with a flexing ankle joint, which is much easier to adapt to walking with than the fixed ankle type and will take the strain of his weight training which he loves. These typically cost around £5000- £7000. Your donations will go towards this, and if we manage to raise more, it will go towards any other adaptations Anosh may need to ensure a smooth transition into his new way of living.
As friends and colleagues, we are eager to support him in regaining his mobility with a more advanced prosthetic. Therefore, we kindly ask for any donations you can contribute towards this worthy cause.
Thank you for reading Anosh’s story and for your generosity.
