Dear Friends and Family,

As some of you may know, our Mom is currently in the ICU. On Sunday, March 13th, our mom suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm that caused a hemorrhagic stroke. Thankfully, she was brought into the Emergency Department with enough time for doctors to find the ruptured brain aneurysm during a CT Scan. She was immediately transferred to a Level I Trauma Center and is now in a medically induced coma to allow time for her brain to recuperate. Although the doctors were able to stop the bleeding with Endovascular Coiling, there are still risks that it may rebleed or cause vasospasms. They are monitoring her very closely and she is currently in critical, but stable condition. She has a long road to recovery and she is expected to be in the ICU for at least one month. We are starting this fundraiser to help cover the costs of her medical expenses, rent, utilities, future physical therapy, medications, etc.

Our mom plays a significant role in all of our lives. She has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Her grandchildren continue to ask when she will come to visit and it’s difficult to answer a question that we, ourselves don’t even know the answer to. Our mom is the strongest, most courageous, wildly independent, and doting person we know. We pray every day for her to heal and recover from this nightmare of ours.

Living in a pandemic, our current crisis with war, and our declining economy has broken us down. During this difficult time, our family is asking for all the help and support that we can get.
