Many of you know Anny Poirier as a fixture in the Louisiana film community or the most regular regular at the Holy Ground (AKA her "Living Room"). It's with a sad heart that I share the news that Anny suffered a stroke last month, leaving her temporarily paralyzed on her left side. After a month in the hospital, she will be released from Tulane Inpatient Rehab today (Feb 10) and is headed home, where she will need rely on the help of her friends.
While Anny improves every day, she will unfortunately be out of work for the foreseeable future. If you know Anny, then you know it's killing her to be away from work. We are all hoping that she recovers rapidly, but only time will tell. With hospital bills, specialty equipment, and home modifications needed, she could use could use a hand. Any help is greatly appreciated.
If you'd like to help Anny in other ways, we could use some help with transportation, food delivery, and some other things. Please contact me here to volunteer to help out.
