I am Pat Johnson, and I am continuing my annual request for donations to an educational scholarship established in 2007 in memory of my son, Christopher "Chris" Johnson, a Northside High School senior athlete who passed away in June 2007 due to leukemia. Since 2008 my family has awarded an annual scholarship award in honor of Chris to a deserving high school senior in our community to assist with costs of their post secondary education.

From its inception in 2007, this scholarship has been funded solely by donations from family, friends, and other generous people in our community. All funds donated go directly to his scholarship fund.
