Annual Arundel HS Sheet Music Campaign

Goal: "To supplement the operating budget of the Arundel HS Music Department to allow for the purchase and commission of exciting, relevant, and culturally responsible music for Arundel HS students to perform during the 2021-2022 school year! "

Did you know??? It costs over $100/song for each group @ Arundel HS!

Instead of charging students $30 to participate in a class, we want YOUR help to ensure ARUNDEL HS MUSICIANS have NEW and AWESOME MUSIC to play!

Does AACPS give the music department money?

~Yes, but it is for materials of instruction. So, we use the funds for things like guitar strings, instruments, valve oil, drum sticks, rosin, percussion gear for choir, etc...

So, is the Arundel HS Music Department good to go?

~No, we need a way to get new and awesome music to our students! We estimate we are short about $30/student or $4500, ( representing a -65% decrease in our year-long budget for music classes compared to previous years).

What do we do now to make sure our students have music to play?

Share our fundraiser!^^ Our goal will be for each student to use social media, email (and maybe print advertisement) to raise approximately $30/student!
