Losing our Father
Donation protected
Hello,
I am trying to raise money for my father, he took an unfortunate turn in life.
He had a fall, which ended up with him having a very bad brain bleed. He needed to have emergency surgery done to try and fix the damage. Sadly, it wasn't enough.
Together as a family we had to make a decision, to take him off of life support.
I have been driving to and from the hospital everyday, driving an hour each way. It's has been a tough process, and now soon we'll be needing to do funeral arrangements. Where the funeral will be is a 8 hour drive from where we are currently living, from Chatham to Manitoulin Island so he can be buried back home with our family.
I moved my father from up north to where I live so he could live with me and my daughter. This way I could take care of him too at the same time. My dad my was sick with kidney disease, doing dialysis three times a week. He recently went for a double bypass in November 2019. It has been a tough go for my dad but I'm so glad we got the chance to have him with us in the last month's of his life. I wish it was longer and we got the chance to do more with him. Heartbreakingly, we will removing him off life support today at 8pm Feb 3rd, 2020.
Edit: our Father made his way through to the Spirit World at 5:51 AM February 4, 2020. I will forever cherish all our memories and carry you always in my heart.
I love you forever Dad, love your baby girl! Xo Baamaapii
Any support as this time will be greatly appreciated, it's been a tough go for all of us and it's only going to get tougher.
Sincerely;
The Corbiere Family
