❤️Ann-Marie “Mimi” Miracles are possible! ❤️

Our Dearest Ann-Marie, and as many know her our Mimi!

We want to let our Facebook family and friends know what has been happening in our lives because we need so much love, thoughts, prayers, positive vibes and whatever you may have to support us in this journey.

December 7th Ann-Marie was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and mid January was classified as Stage 4. It has been a significant blow to our life as we know it. We held the information close thru her birthday December 8 and the holidays and reserved the shock of the diagnosis just for our immediate family. As the news begins to spread, as we knew it would, many of our friends and Cirque family have reached out to offer much love and support. We appreciate all that we can get. I know that Ann-Marie means the world to so many and has touched and influenced so many people throughout her many years at Cirque du Soleil and Action Horizons.

I know this news is overwhelming and I wish that we could be the ones to tell you personally but it’s a huge task and honestly too much for me to do.

Ann-Marie started her 2nd round of Chemotherapy this week and has side effects of fatigue, nausea and hair loss. She is a trooper and a fighter but keeps an open heart to embrace healing and love for herself and her ailing body.

Our three children know about the diagnosis and are seeing the ever present changes in Mimi and our lives. We are continuing their activities of competitive roller skating, soccer and dance along with school. We are drawing from their energy and ability to live in the moment to carry us thru the hardest days of our lives.

Many family members and friends are visiting and helping with day to day events, activities, doctor’s appointments and work. We appreciate all the help and love we are getting and realize there are so many more who wish to help.

We love you and thank you deeply for all of the love and support you can send Ann-Marie’s way, the children’s way, my way, the families way and to each other as we naviguess through this trying journey.
