Dearest Friends and Family,

As many of you know, my sister AnnMarie Gubenko has just courageously fought a battle with breast cancer. Just as we were about to celebrate this amazing victory, AnnMarie finds herself facing another cancer diagnosis, completely separate from the breast cancer (2 primary cancers within the same year!). She has an aggressive, stage 4 cancer that is attacking her jaw and mouth. This came on suddenly and she has a big fight ahead of her. In addition to cancer treatment and surgery, she will also need a surgery to reconstruct her jaw. It is a complex surgery and insurance does not cover the dental portion of the reconstruction.

AnnMarie is very optimistic and positive as she enters this fight and her family has been nothing short of amazing. We are hoping to raise some money to help cover the cost of surgery. AnnMarie has a battle ahead of her-there’s no doubt about that. If we can take some of the burden off her shoulders, the battle becomes less overwhelming and she will win!
