In Loving Memory of Ann-Marie Cossar

Hi, my name is Joanne. I’m heartbroken to share the sudden and unexpected passing of my cousin and dear friend, Ann-Marie Cossar, at the age of 44.

Ann-Marie was a kind, gentle, and deeply caring woman. Despite facing lifelong challenges with her physical and mental health, as well as learning difficulties, she remained thoughtful and compassionate toward everyone around her. Her vulnerability often left her open to being taken advantage of, something I always worried about. But no matter what she went through, she carried herself with quiet strength and always thought of others before herself.

She had no immediate family able to step in, and I now find myself her next of kin—humbled to honour her life and do right by her in her passing.

We are hoping to raise £4,000 to help cover the cost of a modest and respectful funeral for Ann-Marie. The average cost of even a small UK funeral is now around £4,706, and sadly, Ann-Marie left no savings or arrangements in place. Without support, we simply don't have the funds to give her the farewell she deserves.
