Annie's thank you ❤️

On 23rd of October our lives were turned upside down when our then 5month old daughter Annie had a cardiac arrest. Thankfully, with the skills and efforts of lots of professionals, Annie's life was saved twice before she underwent surgery in the RVH on the 30th October. Her story is a positive one, and her strength and determination not only seen her through, but also seen us through and we will forever be proud of her for that.
Annie's condition in the first 2 weeks was unstable so as her parents, we moved into PICU in the Royal children's hospital to be with her 24hours a day. Once recovery was going well and we were stable enough, we were transferred back to Craig ward in the Ulster hospital as a step down for the final 2 weeks of admission before going home. In total, we spent 37 days between two hospitals, and it highlighted the need for some additional items which we would love to raise enough money to buy for the wards. Although there are some facilities for parents, we feel there's a need for some more and that the additional items would make living in hospital a little more cost effective and comfortable for parents regardless of how long they are there.
We'd love to buy some fridges, kettles, toasters and microwaves for the parents rooms, and if we were lucky to have some leftover money, we'd purchase some toys or practical items for Craig Ward and the Ulster ED.
In order to fundraise, Annie is going to enjoy dressing in christmas related clothes in the run up to Christmas day and we'll post these on social media. Any donations would be very much appreciated ❤️
