Annie's Horseless Carriage Emergency Replacement Fund
Donation protected
Hi. I'm Jeremy. My wonderful, yet oddly unlucky friend, Annie Clemmons, needs the help of her entire community of friends and supporters. While I hesitate to air too much of her unlucky laundry, the very latest in a long run of bad luck is her neighbor backing into her parked car and totaling it. This accident has resulted in a total loss, leaving her with less than sufficient funds to replace her vehicle.
Annie needs a car for transportation for her and her daughter Harper and to run her independent business.
A few of us have gotten together to plan this, in the quest of getting her a newish car. If you are not familiar with Annie, she operates the very high-brow and snazzy bakery, Chapman's, out of a ghost kitchen. She also feeds all of the bands that play at Supernova every year. She is an instrumental link in the event that is Supernova, as well as the greater DMV ska scene. This single mother of a daughter with special needs, breast cancer survivor, and dessert creator extraordinaire could really use the help of her crowd. Her car is everything to her; she runs her bakery as a delivery service, and she is a single mom!!! She needs a car to survive!
There are enough of us. If we all just give a little, we can make this wonderful human’s life just a little less cumbersome. I could not believe how much help I got after my accident from my friends and the ska community, and just hope that everyone feels the same about another important human in our world.
Thank you so much for taking the time, and hopefully emptying your wallet.
