Hey all! I am raising money for my hip replacement. Had a nasty accident. I've shared this with you because you've been part of my journey to some degree and I want to first thank you for caring about me and my well-being. The first surgery date is May 21st, 2020 and I may need a second surgery, about 6 months later, pending how well I heal from the first. 

I'm long-winded so I'll do a short version and a detailed version below, after the break. Firstly, there are NO expectations for you to donate. Everything you give is a gift, not an obligation or compensation. The surgery will be local around my home in Tucson and you are able to visit me while I'm recovering in the hospital. Insurance will help pay for it, but I'm unsure how much. I will ask two more times between now and May, so if you cannot donate now there will be another chance in a few months.
