Hi, all!
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Annie Zavacky, who left us in the early morning hours of 12/06/2022.
These past five years (almost to the day) since her stroke turned everyone's lives upside-down have been nothing short of a whirlwind. Ultimately, we know them to be both a blessing and a time of hardship. It was a blessing for us all to be able to get five more years with her. For her to be able to be around as her daughter Robin was married. For her to get to meet her only grandchild, Emerson. And for her to be able to see all of you, her dear friends and family, for what feels like all-to-brief of a time. That extra time was nothing short of a miracle in and of itself, given the severity of her health problems. And yet, we know that, especially towards the end of her time with us, she was constantly struggling and suffering, so we are relieved that she will no longer have to experience that. Such a kind, warm and generous soul as hers should not be made to endure such pain.
She was and will always be our Bunny Queen, our loving mother and grandmother, our gentle, compassionate and silly friend. She is a soul who will always be fondly remembered and will surely never be forgotten by anyone who had the pleasure and privilege to know her in her lifetime.
So, here we invite you to remember Annie by sharing stories about her (we want to make this into a book), and also to please consider assisting her family with the enormous costs of her funeral services. We will also keep you posted about the memorial date and time on here as soon as we know more information.
