Lower Dauphin Annie Patrons!

Hello! My name is Kevin M. Strawser, and I am the director of the Musical at Lower Dauphin High School. The Musical program has been a huge part of my life for over 40 years, and I am proud of the program we have built over those years!

This year we are producing ANNIE, the musical, and I couldn't be more excited. This is a show I've looked at for years, and finally, this year felt like the right year. We've already been rehearsing for weeks, and it's looking pretty awesome (if I do say so myself). The students work incredibly hard, and long hours to bring our shows to life! They don't get paid or receive a grade for what they do. They do it simply for the love of performing! And I love that. We have about 80 students involved in the cast, pit orchestra, stage crew & tech crew, and costume & props crew.

Most years we start with a budget that is sufficient to cover our costs. That's not the case this year. We are responsible for our programs, posters, sound equipment, lighting equipment, costumes, props, backdrop rentals, and all materials for set construction and painting. Since the start of the Covid pandemic, we've seen our budget dwindle to about 1/3 of what we're used to.

I know there's a lot of need out there right now and communities are inundated with requests for donations. What I'm proposing is that we collect money for our show via patrons, which is something we do every year anyway, but this platform helps us to reach more people, like friends, family, and alumni!

In the program you'll be acknowledged in tiers:

Patron (up to $49)

Silver ($50 to $99)

Gold ($100 to $200)

Platinum (over $200)

If we need to create higher tiers (which would be amazing!) we can do that.
