Hello, my name is Lisa. I am writing this to ask for your help in fulfilling the final, sacred wish of my beautiful late gran... Annie Lawrence.
From 2008 until her passing my gran and I lived together. As her health declined, I became her full-time personal caregiver. Gran was a fighter unlike any other she survived breast cancer, managed asthma and diabetes, overcame countless chest infections, and earned the family nickname robot annie because no matter what life threw at her, you could just "pop her on charge" and she’d keep going.
At 85 gran made her final plan she started to save her own money so that when her time came she could be interred with her father at his graveside in Monte Cassino, Italy. We secured all the necessary legal permissions. She was ready.
Tragically, after a hospital stay in late 2024, we were forced to accept outside carers twice a day just to allow her to come home to us. Despite me being her full-time caregiver, this mandatory service completely drained her pension and savings.
True to her stubborn, loving spirit gran held on to celebrate one last magical Christmas, her 88th birthday, and the New Year with her most loved she passed away so peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on the 2nd of january 2025.
Gran has been cremated and her ashes are home with me. Unfortunately after her death i had to start from scratch and get all the permissions again myself as the first ones were granted to my gran via a 3rd party so that brings us to now we have the legal permissions ready now because our plans savings were drained by care costs, we are facing our own expensive hurdles to get her to Italy. We are struggling to cover the fees for the World Federation of United Curing (WFUC), the Italian Consulate, certificate translations, transport costs, and the priest required for her interment.
I promised my gran I would get her back to her daddy! I did everything I could for her in life & I desperately want to fulfill this last request for her in death. Any donation no matter how small will go directly toward taking my gran to rest with her daddy.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
