      On November 20th, 14 year old Annie and her best friend Kaia were struck as pedestrians in a crosswalk, while crossing the four-lane highway required to attend their choir practice at St Francis Middle School in St. Francis, Minnesota.

      Annie remains at Hennepin County Medical Center,  after undergoing surgery to repair multiple fractures to her pelvis and femur.   Her release is still undetermined, and extensive physical therapy will be required.

    This fund has been established to assist Annie and her parents (Chris & Lisa) with current and future medical and rehabilitation expenses that will be encountered throughout this lengthy healing process.   In addition it will be used to assist with the everyday expenses a family of four encounters, especially as parents face reduced working hours while caring for Annie.
