With a heavy heart I would like to share the news today, 12/10/23 around 11:30am our beloved friend, Annie Har Lee Ling passed on. She was surrounded by her daughters and husband, Yau York Kee at home. Thank you so much for your love and care to her family. May you continue to keep them in prayers as they go through this difficult time in their lives.

Please know words are insufficient to say how grateful I am of my family, my friends from highschool, my church family, my co-workers past and present, Annie & Kee's family and friends, Jasmine's family & friends and people whom have no relation to us who helped financially. Even though those who are not able to contribute financially it is totally alright. Just having you think of them and sending good thoughts and prayers are all I ask. My name is Mandy. I am blessed to have known Annie for more than 6 years. She is the kindest friend anyone could ask for. Her cheerfulness will light up the room. She is generous, loyal, and a super sincere friend. She is hardworking, reliable, and dedicated to her job. She is adored by many people around her.

We first met through our jobs at Hao Noodle in Greenwich Village, NY in 2017. Later I got to know that she and her husband, Kee, came from Malaysia in January 2015 to provide for the needs of their 2 young daughters and their extended families. I am moved by the sacrifices they had to make and endure throughout their journey here.

In February 2021 Annie was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. Thankfully the malignant tumor was removed. She was in remission briefly. Then in early December 2022, a week after Thanksgiving Annie had trouble moving her left limbs. She immediately went to the clinic but her primary doctor suspected something more severe and admitted her to the hospital. The doctors found a brain tumor obstructing some nerves and they had to perform a surgery expeditiously. She was later prescribed immunotherapy treatment.

The year 2023 has been a turbulent year for both Annie and Kee in all aspects. Kee has not been able to work due to a recent accident at work. He will have to undergo a hand and elbow surgery soon. As for Annie, the immunotherapy and the 2 cycles of chemotherapy that she underwent throughout the year did not help much because the cancer had metastasized. It now reaches her brain, lungs, spine, and her liver. The pain is excruciating but the worst is when her doctors tell her there is no further treatment. They suggested moving her to hospice care.

I am hoping to raise funds to support Annie and Kee. Both have not seen their daughters since 2015. If you will, kindly support financially within your means. No amount is too small, every contribution helps. Help their daughters be reunited with Annie for their final days together. Help fulfill her last wish!
