Annie Going to the Cannes Film Festival!

Hi everyone! What a wonderful time to be alive!
The Story:
My friends, Meital Abraham, Justin Alicastro, and Laura Palacio, and I created a comedic short film last Spring 2018 entitled "STDon't" and submitted it to Campus Movie Fest at UF. It won on our campus, and moved on to the national CMF festival, Terminus. Then, we found out it was selected as one of the top 25 films nationwide for CMF and was put on Amazon Prime! All of this was so unexpected and such a wonderful process to go through that we are all extremely thankful for. I cannot stress how proud I am of what we created and I will never not be. Then, this Fall 2018, we found out that we could apply to go with CMF to the Cannes Film Festival in France. I have been accepted to go and I plan on going if I can make the funds work! :)
What this means:
CMF will enter our film into the Short Film Corner at Cannes. This does not mean the film will be competing through Cannes, but it will be shown there (which is still SO AWESOME!!). I will also have access to the Cannes festival and have the privilege of viewing the most prestigious and acclaimed films in the world. On top of that, I'll be able to network and gain connections in the film and production world that could benefit me (like CRAZY) in my future. Not to mention, FRANCE! hell0! More like, Bonjur!
It's a once in a lifetime opportunity that I would never have access to or even consider if it weren't for STDon't. If I don't go, and especially if I don't try, I think I'll seriously regret it. Which leads me to this:

In terms of the program and the festival, it's a very costly trip. As a pretty broke college student--sorry, pretty AND broke college student--I need a lot of help getting there. So, if you're willing and have read this far, please consider donating as I would love you forever and ever for it!!! Truly any amount is appreciated and would make me a happy, happy gal.
