Hi! Thanks for looking at this page. If you don't know yet - I am moving to Cambodia in a month! I recently got a call back from an interview I had with a company called Hope for Justice who works with girls that have recently been rescued from human trafficking. They have saved girls ranging from the ages of 1- 60 that are trapped in the industry and educate them/help them regain a normal life. I will be going for four months to be a photojournalist - storytelling about their lives, the social work process, and everything in between that happens under the roofs of HFJ. This opportunity is a lifelong dream of mine to help and mentor these girls, I can't begin to describe how excited I am! My lunch will be paid for every day and the majority of my housing expenses while I am there, but will still need to gain funding for other meals during the day and my flights to and from Cambodia. I have budgeted what it will take me to get there/live there for four months so I am working to fundraise as much as I can of that within the next few weeks! Thank you so much for reading and I am so excited to see where this photojournalism stint leads!
