Anni Caroline Ribeiro’s Funeral Services

Hi my name is Isadora and I am one of Anni’s sisters. Anni passed away on Friday the 13th. This is a very hard and difficult time for our family right now.

On Tuesday October 3rd, Anni had a bariatric surgery, everything went well and she was very excited that she was able to go through with the surgery. On Saturday October 7th around 7PM we noticed that Anni’s lips and finger nails were blue due to her low oxygen. We took her to the Marlborough hospital in which she was transferred to Boston Children’s Hospital. There they found that she had leakage into her stomach, in which created an infection. She became septic and had multiple organ failures. Anni spent 6 days in the hospital fighting the infection, but unfortunately she didn’t have enough strength and passed away on Friday October 13th.

Olá, meu nome é Isadora e sou uma das irmãs de Anni. Anni faleceu na sexta-feira, dia 13. Este é um momento muito difícil para nossa família.

Na terça-feira, dia 3 de outubro, Anni fez uma cirurgia bariátrica, tudo ocorreu bem e ela estava muito animada por poder realizar a cirurgia. No sábado, dia 7 de outubro, por volta das 19h, notámos que os lábios e as unhas da Anni estavam azuis devido ao seu baixo nível de oxigénio. Nós a levamos ao hospital de Marlborough, onde ela foi transferida para o Hospital Infantil de Boston. Lá eles descobriram que ela tinha um vazamento no estômago, o que criou uma infecção. Ela ficou séptica e teve falência múltipla de órgãos. Anni passou 6 dias no hospital lutando contra a infecção, mas infelizmente não teve forças suficientes e faleceu na sexta-feira, dia 13 de outubro.
