If you know Jamie, you know she has given her heart and soul into this industry. Jamie has worked tirelessly and around the clock to make not only her salon a reality but the reality for other stylist like myself to have a place to call home.

AnnexHairStudios expanded earlier this year and was the salon Jamie had been putting everything into, her hardworking 12 years being in the industry started right out of her own home and then moved into the beautiful salon she newly opened.

Unfortunately the morning of November 18th, a fire broke out in the building next to the salon and the Annex could not be saved. Although the building still stands, the damage to the inside is heartbreaking. Along with our salon family devastated at the loss, after an inspection our tools and all items inside are unsaleable. we no longer have a home away from home.

Financially it could take years to be able to have the salon Jamie once did.

I have had the privilege of working alongside Jamie for the past year, she has trained me and poured so much into me to make me the stylist I am today. Shes always taught me that something about this industry is stylist will have your back when you need it.

I want to help her in more ways than I can, and if you have been impacted or been lucky enough to meet Jamie and have her do your hair, you know what a light she is to everyone. She deserves to have the salon she dreamed of. She’s built from nothing, but I won’t let her build alone anymore.
