Annette’s Recovery Journey ❤️
Donation protected
We are reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Tilly Arthur, and her beautiful mum Annette during what has been an incredibly challenging time.
Recently, Annette (only 62) suffered a major heart attack which led to urgent open heart surgery on the 18th of August 2025. She still remains in ICU. While we are so grateful she is now on the road to recovery, the journey ahead will be long and difficult.
To complicate things further, Annette also suffers from severe rheumatoid arthritis, a condition that already makes day-to-day living extremely painful and difficult plus not being able to work. The impact of the surgery has only added to the challenges she faces in her daily life.
Tilly, who is not only a dedicated shift worker but also Annette’s primary carer, is doing everything she can to support her mum during this time. However, with limited access to carers leave and the demanding nature of her job, it has become increasingly difficult for her to be there 24/7. One of our hopes with this fundraiser is to help provide some much-needed additional home support for Annette, so she can recover safely and comfortably with the care she deserves.
We have started this GoFundMe to ease some of the financial pressure that comes with ongoing medical bills, treatment costs, and the urgent need to move into a more suitable and liveable home to accommodate her medical conditions. Our hope is that by rallying together, we can give Tilly’s mum the space and peace of mind she needs to focus solely on her recovery.
Annette is the kind of person who brings joy and warmth wherever she goes. With her bubbly spirit, caring nature, and eye for a fabulous outfit, she has a way of lifting others up and making every moment brighter. Now, it’s our chance to give back to her. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference to Annette, Tilly, and Vincent as they navigate the difficult months ahead.
Thank you so much for your support xx
