Our wonderful, feisty mother, Annette Boudreaux, experienced a hemorrhagic stroke January 24. While she keeps the fantastic team of nurses, OTs, PTs, and speech therapists at Swedish Hospital on their toes with her wit and sassy requests, we are working to alleviate some stressors so that she can continue to maintain attention toward recovery.
As a friend, daughter, sister, grandmother, coworker, aunt, niece, and earnest parent to her "dog-ter" Mon'Amie (Mona), Annette is always the first to crack a borderline-inappropriate joke and inspire smiles when the mood gets too heavy. While we understand not everybody has the resources to give financially, we know Annette will appreciate thoughts/prayers/good juju and whatever other love and light you can send her way.
As her daughters, we would like to send a huge thank you to her coworkers at Ritsema & Lyon for their well wishes, continued contact, and support. We also want to express our gratitude to those who are caring for our little Mona, Sandy and Aunt Carol, as well as family and friends who are at her bedside during any free moments they may have.
And since this is a fundraiser page, we are asking for monetary donations to contribute toward Annette's mounting medical bills and time away from work. We appreciate your generosity and kindness supporting her potentially lengthy recovery toward wellness.
