Annette’s journey with breast cancer
Hello, this is Annette just giving you all an update… I recently had surgery 1/11/22 a Lumpectomy along with Lymph node surgery to remove the cancer tumor. Unfortunately, after removal of the tumor was told I had cancerous cell still remaining on my right breast. Will need to do another 14 rounds of Kadcyla ( Herceptin + Chemo) every three weeks for one year. Also radiation 6 weeks (M-F). I hope and pray that this is all over soon and I beat this Cancer! This is Cynthia. I don’t even know where to start, since all this is very hard for me to write.
Once again, cancer has hit our family, and this time it has touched my lovely sister Annette. She has been diagnosed with HER2 breast cancer. As I sit here writing this, I am in so much pain and filled with tears, wishing it was not true. It’s hard to even think about everything that she is going through and what is to come, but like they say, God gives His hardest battles to His strongest soldiers.
My sister Annette does so much for others and touches so many people's hearts. Sometimes we ask ourselves why do things like this happen to the kindest people. Why her? But, don’t we all ask that when it happens to one of our loved ones? My sister is very special to me and to so many others; she has always put others before herself. No matter what situation she might find herself in, she always makes time to help someone in need. We are so proud of our sister.
She is the CEO and founder of El Paso Stop Cyber Bullying, helping thousands by campaigning in schools across the states of Texas and New Mexico to stop bullying. She doesn't stop there; she also helps feed the homeless in El Paso, Juarez, and Arizona and is an advocate for any one in need. Now, it's our turn to help her. During this time when she needs us the most, we need to show her she is not battling this cancer alone and that we are right by her side. We love her, and she needs to know she has God's army right beside her, praying and supporting her.
So, please pray for our sister Annette. A prayer is stronger then anything. We have all the faith in the world that God will see her through this trial.

Hola, soy Cynthia, ni siquiera sé por dónde empezar, ya que me cuesta mucho escribir esto. Una vez más, el cáncer ha golpeado a nuestra familia y esta vez ha tocado a mi encantadora hermana Annette con cáncer de mama. Mientras me siento aquí escribiendo todo esto, siento mucho dolor y estoy llena de lágrimas deseando que esto no sea cierto. Es difícil tansiquiera pensar en todo lo que todavía necesita que pasar mi hermana Annette, pero como dicen, Dios da sus batallas más duras a sus soldados más fuertes. Me siento aquí y pienso en todo lo que mi hermana Annette ha hecho por los demás y en cuántas vidas ha tocado y salvado con el increíble corazón amoroso que tiene. ¿Por qué les pasa esto a las personas más amables? ¿Porqué ella? Pero no todos preguntamos eso cuando golpea a uno de nuestros seres queridos. Esto es diferente porque mi hermana para mí es muy especial. Siempre ha puesto a otros antes que ella, que no importa en qué circunstancias se haya encontrado, se levantará y ayudará a alguien que lo necesite. Estamos muy orgullosos de ti hermana desde la apertura de El Paso Stop Cyber Bullying hasta llegar a tantas vidas que tu salvaste. Ahora es nuestro turno para que peleemos esta batalla a tu lado. Te amamos, no estarás sola en este viaje tienes muchas muchas personas que te quieren y te apoyarán. Tienes esto. Les pregunto a todos a quién llega esto. Para orar por mi hermana, una oración es más fuerte que cualquier otra cosa, tenemos toda la fe del mundo en que Dios estará a tu lado. Si alguien puede ayudar con tan solo un dólar o unos centavo, cualquier cosa ayudará, ySi no puedes, está bien, una oración significa mucho más.
