Annette Moreno & Family

Our dear friend Annette is battling cancer and has been for over 11 years.  She worked for Merced County for several decades and then retired medically when the cancer returned very aggressively.  She was a faithful, dedicated, hard working  employee.   She has a husband who adores her as she does him and  they have 3 wonderful kids and grandkids.  In 2006, she fought her 1st battle with cancer.  After surgery, chemo and radiation she had a clean bill of health for several years after.  Then it returned and got progressively worse over the years.  She has been in and out of the hospital too many times to count. Many, many chemo treatments and medication.  She has endured many surgeries.  She is very tired.  She does not want any more surgeries or chemo treatments.  She is exhausted and wants to rest at home.  Hospice is now assisting Annette.  Joe is taking care of her full time.  He is administering her pain meds, feeding her, bathing her, changing her.  Unfortunately, they do not qualify for In Home Health Services.  He is very passionate about taking care of his queen.  Annette and Joe are very amazing people.   They have been married for 35 years.  They are soul mates.  Joe's heart is breaking.  Annette and Joe are kind, compassionate, faithful, people.  Very active with their church.  Now it's our turn to step up and help take care of them.  Any donation helps.  They are very appreciative of anything we do for them.  Your donation will help them more than you will ever know.  We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
