It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Annette Marie Bates on the 22nd of September. Annette was a beloved mother, aunty, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a second mum to many.

Annette touched so many lives with her warmth and generosity. Her door was always open, and her heart even more so. Many people who knew her can share stories of how she made them feel welcome and loved, no matter what.

Annette will be laid to rest in Muswellbrook on the 11th of October. As we prepare to celebrate her life, we’re kindly asking for support to help cover the funeral costs. We want to give her the farewell she deserves and ease the financial burden on her family during this difficult time.
