Anne's Battle with ALS, the fight to LIVE

My name is Anne, for those that know me they would say (I hope) I am a dedicated and loving Mom to my amazing 8 year old son. 2020 has been such a hard year for so many people. In March of this year I was diagnosed with MS, this was a shock to myself and my loved ones but I seen this as a challenge and I jumped full in to help myself heal. I changed my diet, increased exercise, began to live the healthy life I wanted for myself and my family. That all came crashing down on Thursday September 3rd when I was called into my neurologist office to be told I had been misdiagnosed, I in fact have ALS or Lou Gehrigs Disease. This is fatal, and fast, and I want to LIVE, really live my life that is left. I want to under go stem cell therepy, unfortunately that is all out of pocket cost with a price tag of $7000 per treatment, I would need 3 or more. I have found a wonderful clinic in Sudbury and I could begin treatment as soon as I have the funds, hoping I can delay the onset of symtoms. I have lived my life treating others with respect and kindness, I am hoping that what I have sent out into this world comes back to me.
