Hi, my name is Nessa; and I am fundraising for a lady called Anne.
A few years ago, Anne gave her life to Jesus Christ. She recently fled the UK due to Hate Crime as a result of this. The Police were involved, but they did nothing to protect her, or to investigate incidents caused by the assailants, despite showing the Police evidence of their Hate Crime. To make matters worse, the Police accused her of having Paranoia and Mental Health issues (which she managed to find out through a Safeguarding Team, weeks after chasing the Police to find out if they will investigate her case, as she was being ignored). This damaging claim then led Anne to obtain a letter from her Doctor, who confirmed that Anne has never had any previous, nor current mental health issues (much less, in Anne's previous work history, she has been employed as a Mental Health Worker - so she was upset that the Police defamed her character). Further to this, she ended up losing her home, in order to move away from the assailants - who were persistently making attempts to seek and harm her, because she involved the Police. Anne managed to contact a few family members and a friend who managed to move her household belongings into storage for her. In addition, she also put her higher education studies (A Master's degree in Mental Health and Counselling) on hold. After a while of having to overstay between her family and friend's homes, she felt that she really had nowhere to stay (much less, she did not want to put her family members and her friend at risk of being harmed by the assailants - as they managed to track her down to where she was staying).
Anne then contacted her sibling abroad, who offered for her to stay with them until things in the UK died down (as the assailants were persistently targeting and harassing her). However, now she is suffering at the hands of her sibling (i.e. emotional abuse, manipulation and control). Anne has had to flee one situation, only to end up in another bad situation. Anne also has her child with her, who is currently being home-schooled.
I spoke to Anne recently; and she explained that she managed to make friends/become acquainted with a lovely Christian woman who attends a local church in the country Anne is currently staying in. Anne further explained that she confided in this woman by explaining her previous and current situation; and that this lovely Christian woman attempted to assist Anne in the hopes of moving her into a woman's asylum and refuge center. However, once the assessment at the woman's asylum and refuge center was completed, Anne was not eligible to enter their program. As this was the third women's refuge Anne had tried to enter - and was refused help due to her immigration status, having no social security and/or unable to find employment as a result of her status, Anne has no choice but to return to the UK. It was then suggested that she should try to gain a Go Fund Me donation, to help her start her life over again.
I (the fundraiser) have offered to help re-house Anne once she returns to the UK, but she will need financial aid/support to help Anne in the meantime - and if possible, once she arrives back in the UK.
Anne has managed to find funds to cover the cost of her and her child's flight; but in the meantime, she will need help to purchase food, toiletries and suitcases - which includes covering the cost of luggage for the flight; as well as transportation to the airport. Anne has very little time - a timeframe of six weeks, for funds to be raised and donated to her cause.
Following this, Anne will also need help to cover the cost of her storage in the UK for a few months (which is 293.00 pounds per month), until she settles back in the UK. Once she is back in the UK, she has no choice but to apply for financial support via the social benefit system. Even through Anne requires a new home to reside in, she has advised me that she only requires the financial help with the above request; and that if it is God's will to bless her with more funding to aid her in other areas of her life (such as renting a new home), then it will be so.
Thus, I pray that for those reading this statement will donate to help us transition Anne into starting a new journey in her life - as when she does return to the UK, will not be easy for her; but at least she will be in an environment where she can seek help and assistance from her own government local authorities, in order to get her life back on track again. We strongly believe and have faith that God will assist her with her challenges; and that her previous and current situation has not hindered her relationship and faith in Jesus - if anything, it has strengthened it. To God be the Glory
Thank you for taking the time to read this statement; and may God bless you abundantly in all areas of your life.
Anne also wishes to thank you in advance for your support via donations.
Please note: closing date for donations is Monday 28th of July 2025.
Warm regards,
Nessa
