Annemarie Recovery Fund

On December 18, 2018, Annemarie Davies was hit by a driver while on her scooter in a busy intersection in Los Angeles. As she swerved away from the car, she was struck on her left foot. The impact was so forceful, the doctors had no choice but to amputate all of her toes and part of the ball of that foot.  Annemarie is a dancer, so this injury is both emotionally and financially devastating.  Annemarie is a very strong young woman and sees this as a temporary setback, and we are behind her 100%.

Doctors say she will need 6 months to heal.  She is also dealing with a lapse in her insurance coverage until January, 2019.   We want her to have the best care and the best prosthetics so that she can continue to live a normal and active life.

Annemarie has been incredibly strong and positive during this entire ordeal, which is no surprise to her loved ones. She is not the kind of person who likes anyone fretting over her, but in this moment, she does need some help. This money would greatly help her with hospital bills, future surgeries, prosthetics, and basic bills while she is recuperating at home.   Support from friends, family, and caring strangers would bolster her spirit and remove some of her worry.

With gratitude and love,

Annemarie’s family and friends
