Annemarie Metzler was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast

cancer at the age of 47. If you know my sister, you know she is a gentle, sweet.

and caring soul. She owns a small business as a medical massage therapist,

using her own hands to heal others. She is brave and independent, living in

San Antonio, more than arms reach from family who so desperately want to hold her close.

Annemarie's treatment plan includes chemotherapy and surgery to

fight this disease. Between a $6800 deductible, lost wages and additional

medical expenses, the long road to recovery is made more difficult by the

constant flood of bills that come with it. As someone who uses her hands to make a living, her business will be interrupted, and her ability to work through

treatment is unknown. I hope that little by little, we can alleviate some of the
