Memorial Fund for Anne-Marie Kergis

Anne-Marie was, in a word, a FORCE. You could tell she was a people person from the moment you laid eyes (or ears) on her: from the way her face lit up whenever she was in a crowd, to her sometimes hilarious and always engaging stories. Anne-Marie was bloody brilliant and loved to talk about everything and anything. Talking and socializing was her favorite pastime - she loved being in the center of things.

As you can see from the picture, one of her favorite places was to be surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren (and Callie, the cat not pictured here who she always complained about but not-so-secretly loved). Her family (and Callie) loved her more than words can measure, and she is sorely missed.

Anne-Marie was still working to the end; in the past 5+ years, her younger daughter took on the role of caretaker and appointment-helper while Anne-Marie did financial proofreading at part-time hours (she was worried she would be terribly bored if she retired!). Unfortunately, in addition to many broken hearts, Anne-Marie also leaves behind substantial medical that are otherwise secured by the family home. Your donations will go toward helping with these bills, as well as any costs associated with the memorial.
