Anne's Fights with Peritoneum Cancer/Tumours
Donation protected
We have set this page up in the hope of assisting our beautiful friend during a very testing and challenging time for her, Sam, Mojela and Daesha.
Anne has recently been told that she has a number of tumours within the peritoneal cavity and is required to undergo a serious and invasive surgery that will last around 12 hours to remove all tumors and allow chemotherapy to be directly given into the peritoneum cavity, from there Anne will immediately be transferred to the Intensive Care Unit on life support. (The peritoneum is a thin lining that wraps around the bowel and other organs in your abdomen, similar to the skin around a sausage. It also lines the inside of the abdomen wall.)
Anne was first diagnosed with this condition in 2007 at the age of 27 and required a hysterectomy, thankfully she already had her two beautiful daughters.
The last 12 years have not been easy for Anne, undergoing further tumour removal surgery, complications with her bladder and kidneys and not to mention pain, regular hospital and doctor visits. Now, 12 years later it has been recommended that Anne undergoes this surgery to improve her quality of life.
To help you understand the extent of her condition and the surgery you can find the information at the below link

It’ll be a long journey for Anne & Family. So let’s show our love in any donations possible; a little can go a long way. Costs are to go towards unfunded treatment, drugs, specialist appointments, loss of income etc.
It has already been a roller-coaster ride and hopefully with these donations we can help alleviate any financial stress and allow Anne to focus on her recovery.
