Anne Poole with Open Heart Surgery Cost & Bills
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Aaron Davis, and I'm trying to raise money to help my friend Anne Poole (legally, Anne Bradford), because she awaits open heart surgery (schedule pending) for four reasons (Triple Bypass, Ascending Aortic Aneurysm, Valve Replacement, and Cox Maze IV/Atrial Fib procedure), and she's unable to work or support herself right now until the surgery is done. But, in the meantime she's got to eat/live and it's getting more than precarious for her. A fellow human needs us! She hasn't worked since the 6th of Aug, and will be out for a total of 4 months of recovery.
She is a single woman, and bartender working in the Modesto area. She has very few local friends, and no family/kin that can financially or physically assist her at this time, as much as they wish they could. I can't say we are close friends, but it doesn't even matter. The fact is, she is very incapacitated right now. I saw her posting sincere and concerned sentiments on FB about her health, finances, and her physical inability to even go buy groceries for herself, and I knew it was really serious because she's always been so independent and proud of herself for that. I'm proud of her too. She needs help from her friends, my friends, complete strangers, and hopefully her bar patrons and anyone with any heart at all, who sees this and can help a young lady survive through what are surely the most difficult days of her life.
After the 2nd or 3rd post I'd seen from Anne relating to the gravity of her situation, and with few responses that I could see, I knew that "the universe", God, or something bigger than me, was saying "Hey Dude, you need to step up here."
So, can we all step up together? I'm not rich, frankly, but I'm showing up. This is a good human who's genes not her lifestyle gave her this problem. She works hard, she is self sufficient, she is kind, and a good person. She is there for us all when we walk into the bar and spill our guts after a long day or a difficult situation, like every great bartender. So dig deep and please give all you can to someone who's been helping others her whole life. Seeing her posting and asking for help (and getting very little) just broke my heart and I had to do something.
Could you imagine the feeling of desperation and loneliness of knowing things need to get done, but being physically unable to DO them, or help yourself? Can you relate? Then get your wallet out, and be a good human, and lets all help Anne right now. Thank you!!!
