On Thursday, January 19th, our dear sister Anne was enjoying her newfound love, ice skating. Anne fell on the rink and was taken to West Suburban Hospital. Fortunately, the skating rink had emergency contact info for our cousin Eileen Gallagher McGinty (an extraordinary nurse and beloved friend of Anne's). Eileen was able to meet Anne at the hospital. Anne was transferred to University of Illinois Chicago where she is a Labor and Delivery nurse and is receiving excellent care.
In just over a week, Anne has made tremendous progress. The amazing care she is receiving from the Staff of U of I, and the love, prayers and support from around the world is making a difference. This is the beginning of a long journey, but all of you who know Anne, knows she is one determined woman! Anne has touched so many and has always been the most generous and giving person. This is our chance to give back to her. Any contribution, big or small would be greatly appreciated. Your donations will contribute to her rehabilitations efforts and support.
