Anne and Megan Currie

My friend, Anne, is an amazing mom and nana.  Her whole life is her daughters and grandchildren.  She works tirelessly and has been a force to watch raise her girls.  Her second daughter, Megan, was diagnosed with Lissencephaly at 5 months of age.  They told Anne and Megan's dad, Alex, to take her home and love her as she would not live past the age of 2.  Well, miss Megan decided otherwise, and she is now 33 years old.  Anne has been an incredible advocat for Megan through her many surgeries, medical procedures and school life.  When Anne moved to Peterborough with her daughters many years ago, she put herself through school to become a nurse, and Megan has had the best care thanks to her mom.  Anne has worked as a nurse, but always took the job that best suited Megan's care and passed on many opportunities in order to be home as much as possible to care for her daughter.  
Sadly, in the past few months, Megan's health has declined and she is palliative at home.  Anne and Alex are spending all their time with Megan.  Anne has taken time off work to continue to care for her.  I am reaching out to friends, family and people who care to help towards this fund.  Please consider donating to help offset the cost of lost wages and upcoming funeral expenses.  We can help alleviate some of the financial stress they will be going through during this hard time.  Thank you for any donation you are able to make.
