Anna's Angels Fund
Donation protected
One of Anna's Angels has started the Anna's Angels Fund Discretionary Trust to help our family with medical, travel and other expenses.
Anna is the bravest little girl I know. Anna was the youngest person ever known to be diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis.
Anna gets infusions monthly at the local Children's Hospital, gets weekly injections at home and takes oral pain meds twice daily. She is also part of a study at the National Institute of Health in Washington DC because her situation is so unique they are studying her case closely with trips to DC every 6 months. Anna is one of six siblings. As her family, we had some tough choices to make when Anna's illness started causing us, her parents, to call into work sick too often. Her father had to quit his job in order for us to manage all of her appointments and the other kids' needs as well. We underestimated the impact being a one income family would have, especially with the increase in travel for medical needs.
Anna's Angels was a team that took part in a recent walk for Arthritis. Many of Anna's supporters have asked how they can help with her bills directly or the other needs of our family. That is why we are starting this fundraising site.
I would like to THANK everyone who donated to Anna's Angels for the Jingle Bell Run, to all of those that helped us this Christmas and to all who have inquired as to how they can help us moving forward. We are humbled. We are grateful. We are overwhelmed by the generosity and support of Anna's Angels. Thank you. Anna is a strong advocate as a young age. This video was created to build awareness for Juvenile Arthritis and highlight Anna's advocacy efforts (http://magis.to/Li16TA0FG18qPzIHDmEwCXh3?l=vsm&o=i&c=e)
