Anna’s Medical Expenses

Hi, I’m Anna who unfortunately had to turn to a go fund me to get help. In July I had a pretty bad knee injury, more health issues after that which I will not get into.. then in October had a grand finale of lock jaw. Unfortunately it didn’t go back to normal I actually had a lot wrong. I had to seek a fairly expensive treatment that insurance would not cover. I’ve been to multiple doctors, specialists, dentists and it all added up really quickly as again, my insurance didn’t cover any of the help I was seeking to get. Since insurance didn’t cover anything I had to pay completely out of pocket so the expenses are high and mandatory to pay or I will not get treated.

unfortunately, the treatment was not optional at the point I was at so I had to do it.

Im working two jobs and selling cookies on the side and still unable to keep up with everything at home because of these overwhelming pressures on me.

On top of two jobs, side hustle, taking care of myself, my house, my health I’m also a full time student. I’m studying Sociology and will finish in fall/winter. At the beginning of my school journey, I needed to take out a personal loan since I didn’t get financial aid. That loan is holding my car as collateral at this point but with the medical expenses, bills, mortgage etc. it’s hard for me to keep up. Not to mention my car is now on its last leg due to a minor car accident I had in January which I am unable to fix because of these overwhelming things going on.

It’s so hard for me to ask for help, but at this point I’m in desperate need of it. I’m at the point where I may need to sell my house and start over just to pay off some of these medical expenses and other stuff to get it off my plate entirely. I made my house a home and worked so hard on it but it feels like it’s my only way out of this. Life is not fair.

Again, it’s super hard for me to ask for help. Quite frankly I’m extremely embarrassed, but when you ask for help and get turned down, denied over a series of months.. there’s only so much you can do. I genuinely don’t believe I could juggle a third job, but I will try.
