No child ever wants to have to bury their parent. Imagine the pain, hurt, and devastation when it happens, unexpectedly. It’s decidedly bizarre when horrible things happen and you still find yourself conscious and still breathing. I wish I knew the words to say to Christina and her family, but there is no correct response. Rain always falls on the people who deserve nothing less than the sun. If you had the privilege of knowing and loving Anna, then you have an idea of what I mean. Her humor, good nature, and loving energy always surrounded her and those in her company. The good and the bad things are a part of life, accepting and learning how to maneuver after, add to the difficulty. Friends and family are what we need in times like this. Help me help one of my good friends give her mommy a proper homegoing, and lift some of this financial weight off of her children and family.

Anna was not the type to want everyone sad and frustrated, she would want us to rejoice in her name, and celebrate in her honor.
