Hey y'all, my name is Hannah Rainwater and I am starting this Gofundme for my dear friend Annaliese Vojnich after she tragically lost her beloved black lab mix, Cali, on February 13th, 2023. Cali had a rare form of cancer that caused a tumor to grow on her adrenal gland, which had ruptured causing internal bleeding. Cali made it through one successful emergency surgery to stop the bleeding and a second surgery to remove the mass, but unfortunately passed away after a blood clot that formed in her brain caused a stroke. Annaliese made the difficult decision to proceed with the two surgeries because although Cali was 9 years old, the vets felt confident that if she made it through she would have many more years of life ahead of her.

Anyone that knows Annaliese knows that Cali was truly a one in a million dog and they had a special bond that went well beyond what most people have with their pets - which is saying quite a lot. In the wake of her loss, Annaliese is now left with thousands of dollars of vet bills that are a result of her hoping to save a dog that was such a large part of her heart.
