Annaleigh's Angels

Welcome to Annaleigh's Angels, a fundraising page set up for an amazing heart warrior! Annaleigh is 13 years old and was born with a congenital heart defect (CHD).  At 2 days old, Annaleigh was diagnosed with scimitar syndrome, a hypoplastic right lung, no bronchi goes to the top right chamber of the right lung, collateral vessels and a hole in her heart (ASD).  Against all odds, AnnaLeigh has made it to 13 years old, but is now facing her first open heart surgery.  Annaleigh deals with CHD on a daily basis, she remains positive and has been able to do things that the doctors said she would never be able to do.  Her upcoming open heart surgery at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis, MN is risky, however, it will provide her with more energy and stamina. 
Any family affected by a CHD knows how emotionally and financially draining it can be on the child and their family.  But, with the love and support from her family and all of you, she will have the support she needs to get through whatever God has planned for her. 
This fundraiser page is set up to help Annaleigh and her family focus on what is important, fighting this congenital heart defect and taking care of each other.
