My daughter, Annaleia, has experienced more than what any child should go through. She has been poked, prodded, intubated, and operated on.

When Annaleia was born, we were given a life expectancy of two months to two years, and we are inching closer to the two-year mark. We were told to love and cherish each passing moment as we wouldn’t know when her final days would come. And here they are… after 5-6 hospitalizations in the past few months, I have decided enough is enough. I have advocated and made sure this was the last resort after exploring all tests and other options, desperate for more time. I made the hard decision to have her come home on hospice. Her body has been slowly shutting down organ by organ, and she is no longer tolerating formula without being in unbearable pain.

I am reaching out to family and friends to please help support me and her with donations to cover funeral costs and end-of-life expenses so that I can spend the short time I have left making the best memories with my baby girl.
