Annabelle had her procedure early and is currently recovering from her open heart surgery. The cost of meals in the hospital, bills needing to be paid, and the fact that Annabelle’s mom has to discontinue work to care for her during this recovery is adding extra stress on the family. Hi All,

I am creating this Go Fund Me to help a dear friend of mine and her family during a very stressful upcoming season. This December, their sweet middle child, Annabelle, is scheduled to have open heart surgery to repair a hole that she has had since birth. Annabelle had open heart surgery two years ago to attempt to repair the hole, but the doctors were unsuccessful in the repair. In July this last year, the doctors attempted to do the repair less invasively, but failed to be able to do so. The expectation and the fear of Annabelle having to have open heart surgery has come to be a reality and will take place on December 3rd. Annabelle is a very strong, sweet, and tenderhearted girl with lots of sass and a vibrant personality. Tori and Ian hope to be able to take the time necessary to care for her during her surgery and during her eight week long recovery. While they prepare to take time off work to prepare for Annabelle’s surgery and her recovery, they will also be expecting a new baby to come just a few weeks into Annabelle’s recovery. As you can imagine, all of this happening in just a few short weeks of each other is very stressful on Ian, Tori, and their kids involved.

Holidays are a stressful time in general, but adding all of the other unforeseen factors will make it difficult for them to be able to provide for themselves financially during the months of December - January. I am creating this Go Fund me with the hopes that it would help alleviate some of the financial stress that they feel, to cover costs of their bills during the eight weeks they have to take off work, to give them funds to be able to purchase meals during Annabelle’s week long hospital stay, and to give them enough for them to remain afloat. The money we are hoping to raise will help offset the cost of both Ian and Tori having to juggle being off work for an extended period of time.
