There will be many challenges ahead for our friend Anna, but WHAT IF one of them wasn't needing to stress over the money she needs to pay for her treatments!!?
As many of you know, our dear friend Anna, full of life and joy, has been assaulted over and over with medical conditions and illnesses that effect her on a daily bases. Most recently she has been diagnosed with Lyme Disease. I'm pretty sure there is a word limit on here that would prevent me from sharing her entire medical history and painful journey over the last 8 years...but it has been a lot and it has been expensive!
If you know anyone with Lyme Disease or have researched the disease, you know there are two major approaches to fighting the disease. One is a full assault on your body with intense antibiotics, which Anna has done and it didn't work. She is still suffering from a very long list of symptoms that are painful, exhausting and overwhelming.
So the second treatment option is a very holistic and all natural approach with a mixture of diet strategies and a whole lot of natural supplements and medications. This is her new journey that she has started with Dr. Sheri Fox at The Sound Clinic here in Denver. They connected in July and began the new treatment plan that will hopefully lead her to a better and less painful life. While we are hopeful & prayerful that this will help her fight the disease, it is extremely expensive.
Anna is currently having to pay over $500 per month for the supplements prescribed to fight Lyme. And of course, Insurance doesn't cover any of these all natural supplements and treatments that she needs. So $500 a Month plus the doctors visits and treatments is A LOT!!
Our goal is to raise $13,000 so that she can confidently walk into the next two years of a five year treatment plan knowing that her expenses would be covered (and then there is a little extra to cover the fees of this site so she can get the full $12,000 she needs).
