Anna Needs Your Help: Medical Expenses and bills

Hello everyone, I truly hope you're doing well.

My name is Anna and I am trying to raise some money to help with medical bills and monthly expenses that have piled up from being sick the last 3.5 weeks.

January 1st I woke up really sick, the next day my mom called 911 and I went to the emergency room where they diagnosed me with pneumonia.

I went back home and a few days later (11/6) I was back at the hospital because things had gotten much worse and was transfered to another hospital where I was admitted for 3 days. I got medication and supplemental oxygen.

While I was there, they found some abnormal liver labs and elevated troponin, which was concerning because I was having squeezing chest pain. They were able to rule out a heart attack but didn't know the cause.

After 3 days, they felt comfortable sending me home to finish recovering.

Things were going pretty well until a few days ago when my liver started hurting, I started getting mid back pain and feeling VERY UNWELL and fatigued.

I went to the ER today and they can't find a reason for my liver acting up but it could be a candida issue (fungal infection) which I have struggled with for at least 20 years and antibiotics make it worse (which I took 3 different ones while sick) and I won't have any answers or possible relief until I have my follow up appointment on the 30th of this month.

As of today (1/23) I have been out of work 23 days and have no idea when I'll feel well enough to go back. I only had 3.5 days worth of sick time and just got a letter yesterday saying I'm responsible for my hospital stay, which I obviously can't afford.

I know that times are VERY hard for most people right now and I feel horrible asking for money- that is not the type of person I am.. but I'm in such a horrible place health and finance wise that I have no choice but to be vulnerable and hope the right people see this.
