Anna Needs A Kidney Transplant ASAP!

Hi my name is Kim and I'm fundraising for my dear friend Anna. Anna is one of the most kind, genuine, honest, caring women I have EVER had the pleasure of meeting! I have moved many times in my 55 years and Anna is one of those individuals who just stick with you. She has a heart and character that just fills a warm place in your heart.

However, Anna was born one of those unfortunate children who was met with challenges right out of the gate! Her body didn't form quite perfectly, her ureter was not attached properly to her bladder. Unfortunately that tiny imperfection went undetected until little baby Anna was 11 months old and sadly, by that point kidney damage had already set in.

Anna spent the better part of her childhood in and out of hospitals, in and out of surgerys. By the time Anna was in her early 20s, one of her kidneys had given out and had to be removed. As her friends and family can testify, Anna has lived life fearlessly! She has not let her physical challenges get in the way of anything and everything she has had the ambition to accomplish! To name but a few things Anna has done: Racing cars!

Getting her PTA licence and traveling to high need areas to assist with the high demand and then....Opening her own Physical Therapy business!

Taking in friends, family, pets and all, Always.

Opening her heart and home to those in need...Always.

Anna is a dear woman and clearly dear to me. She is in need at this time for not only a living donor but also the funds to cover the expense of the transplant surgery. Annas business has been struggling with the onset of and ramifications of Covid 19 and frankly with her now being at stage 4 kidney disease, the energy and strength necessary for not only running a business but leading several classes a week, as she has been doing up to this point, is just not there. Anna is working through dealing with the business aspects, but she is in need of assistance in funding a living donor kidney transplant and all the extenuating costs. I did a Google search on the cost and found: "The total cost for kidney transplants averaged around 442,500 U.S. dollars in 2020." Given the rapid rising cost of ALL things this year I added 20% which is $88,500 bring the estimated total cost to: $531,000.

I know this is a lot but I believe in aiming as high as ones perceived needs so this amount is what I am requesting assistance in raising!

Anna no longer has the support of her parents as they have both passed on and she has no siblings. But she has my support and she needs yours!
