Anna Muraglia

Some of you may have heard our dear friend, practitioner, and yoga teacher @Jtownhotyoga, Anna Muraglia, was in a terrible car accident Saturday morning on her way to yoga. First, we would like to say how grateful we are that she is still with us. Anna suffered from two broken ankles, a shattered heel, two broken legs, her hip, both wrists and arms, her cheekbone, and several ribs; she is going to have a long recovery ahead of her. However, they have begun the surgeries ( there will be many), but she is in her typical high spirits. Always a beam of light with a big smile, an even bigger heart and always when asked, "How are you doing?" "Living my best life!"

She was able to text me the other night, and we joked about how at least her thumbs weren’t broken, and she laughed.

I asked how she was doing emotionally, and she replied, “emotionally, I’m good physically; I have a lot of broken bones, lol”

When she was first conscious, she asked her sister to call Stephanie @jtownhotyoga and tell us she wouldn’t be able to teach that night. She loves this yoga, and she loves this community so very much. She is an athlete and a marathon runner and loves practicing and teaching yoga and fitness. Moving her body is her medicine for her mind, body, and spirit.

As soon as she is cleared, she will be rehabbing in the hot room with all of us again as soon as possible. The surgeries will be going on for at least a month. We have been told she will remain in the hospital for several months.

We hope to raise some support to help her with medical costs and bills while she is in the hospital and recovering. A little love from all our people adds up to a lot of support. She is a big believer in prayer and God, so please keep sending prayers and visions of her being happy and healthy. She is strong and vibrant and will come out of this with lots of love and support.
